Journey to the End of the World: A Sound Fiction
Bureau du Port

Journey to the end of the world is a geolocalized sound fiction on a 4,5Km route between the old port of La Rochelle and the Pointe des Minimes.
Journey to the End of the World is a strolling story in immersive sound, a film for the ears in several acts, in the open air on a path of about 4.5 kilometers, and which presents in the background, the true story of André Bronner and the Lighthouse of the End of the World.

This fiction was written and directed by Sébastien Laurier and a creative team.

This story is composed of twelve steps and guides the walk (about one hour) from the harbor office of La Rochelle to the Pointe des Minimes where the Phare du Bout du Monde is located.

Equipped with their phone, with headphones or earphones on, visitors simply stroll along the route without having to do anything. Geolocated, the sequences are automatically triggered in their ears in immersive sound according to the route.

The application (entirely free) is hosted on the Loopi platform.

The story of Voyage au Bout du Monde is automatically triggered along the route as the visitor passes by, by geolocation, without any manipulation.

Alone, with family or friends, this augmented reality experience is accessible to all audiences, children and adults.
