You'll board the sailboat "Kirikou", a comfortable, spacious, high-performance, well-equipped 11m First 35s5 with a large cockpit for easy maneuvering. In order to be able to dedicate ourselves to each participant according to his/her level, you will never be more than 5 participants on board (Sailboat approved for 7)...
Departing from the Old Port, you pass between La Rochelle's two famous towers. Then you're off for an exceptional day, sailing between Oleron, Fort Boyard, Aix and Ré. At mid-day, we'll have a picnic on board, at sea or at anchor (weather permitting). If you're lucky, dolphins, leatherback turtles and pilot whales will pay you a visit.
Each at his or her own pace, you'll learn how to steer the boat, trim the sails and perform the various maneuvers. Fabienne, your supervisor, will guide you, answer your questions and pass on her knowledge; you'll be impressed by her availability, her calm, her patience and her pedagogy. You'll enjoy the bright, sheltered waters of La Rochelle, ideal for a first approach to sailing.
After this memorable sail, you'll disembark at La Rochelle's Vieux Port in the late afternoon, eager to repeat the experience.
