Do you know why some Native Americans wear feathers?
Let's go to the Great Plains of America to find out. Gather feathers, beads and colorful threads to protect yourself from evil spirits and nightmares, then customize a dreamcatcher.

The sun thief

Follow the animals of the forest and take part in their exciting adventure! Based on a founding Amerindian tale, this theatrical tale humorously exalts the beliefs of the aboriginal peoples who once lived in the Great Lakes region.

Discover the hidden secrets of a museum work that, once explored, will finally be sketched... just before snack time.

A multicultural encounter with objects and tales from America.
Each parent/child team imagines and draws a personalized object, endowing it with magical powers before presenting it during a storytelling session.

P U B L I C A D U L T E
Discovery tour
A tour for the general public to discover the particularities of a grand house from the Age of Enlightenment, and learn about La Rochelle's transatlantic history through the museum's key works.
This tour is offered every Thursday during the school vacations, at the same time as a workshop for young visitors (see asterisks in the program).
Reservations required.
