La Rochelle Jazz Festival

With a line-up combining world-renowned artists and emerging talents, this year's event promises to be a captivating one for all music fans.

Wednesday, October 9 (La Sirène): José James, the genial singer-songwriter, opens the festival. Renowned for his ability to blur the boundaries between jazz, hip-hop, soul and more, he will pay tribute to Erykah Badu with undeniable virtuosity.

Thursday, October 10 (La Sirène): Sophie Alour delights audiences with her "Le Temps Virtuose" project. On tenor saxophone and transverse flute, Sophie guides us into a world where jazz meets rock, classical and African rhythms. Opening the evening, the magical duo of Olivier Hutman and Lamine Cissokho promises an unforgettable musical journey between piano and kora.

Friday, October 11 (La Coursive): Rising jazz star Christian Sands will delight audiences with his piano technique and effervescent creativity. Accompanied by his trio, he delivers a performance that blends tradition and modernity with exceptional grace.

Saturday, October 12 (La Sirène): Trumpeter Theo Croker, who got his start in France alongside Dee Dee Bridgewater, will rock the stage with his unique blend of funk, hip-hop and jazz. Opening the evening, the talented young pianist and keyboardist Étienne Manchon and his trio will offer a repertoire ranging from intimate compositions to flamboyant pieces.

Sunday, October 13 (La Sirène): Chief Adjuah (a.k.a. Christian Scott) brings the evening to a climactic close. An emblematic figure of the New Orleans Black Indians, this gifted trumpeter and composer of genius offers an unclassifiable performance.

The festival also features affordable rates, with the possibility of buying a 5-day pass, aperitif-concerts offered as part of the La Rochelle Jazz Club, and various events: conference, master class, photo exhibition, film screening and a show for young audiences.
