La Manufacture presents a selection of works from ShupShop, the studio of artist Susan Shup, in association with Galerie Louis Gendre and with the support of the City of La Rochelle.
Susan Shup is an American artist based in Paris. She moved to Paris in the 1980s and soon began exhibiting with Galerie George Lavrov, which showed her mainly large-scale monochrome landscapes on unstretched canvases in its Paris gallery, as well as at FIAC, the London Art Fair and the Basel Art Fair. Shup also took part in an exhibition on Swiss collections at the Museum für Gegenwartskunst in Basel - his first museum show.
