Dance - 1er Regard sur Les jupes - Soraya Thomas / Cie Morphose

The fashion show is one of the most common scenes in our globalized societies. It's a spectacle that has greatly contributed to the construction of a certain myth of masculinity and virility, and more generally to our models of body representation. This codified ritual, part ballet, part military march and part religious procession, has a highly choreographic quality. Soraya Thomas sets out to question it, with humor and impertinence, in her next creation, questioning from the podium the place of the audience in the making of our contemporary models. For a convivial evening, we invite you to discover a work in progress, the fruit of the company's residency at the Chapelle Saint-Vincent in La Rochelle.
