Now yellow and black can be seen everywhere and not just on match days. Loads of crests and flags are hung in the windows of bars which are known to be where all the fans go in the La Rochelle area. Tag along to experience the lively atmosphere on match days in La Rochelle!

Stade Marcel Deflandre

A real fortress of yellow and black, the Stade Marcel Deflandre can be found in the Port-Neuf district and spans over 40,768m², two pitches and four stands, which equates to a capacity of 16,000. The name of the stadium pays homage to Marcel Deflandre, a president of the club who was shot by the Germans in the war.

A stone’s throw away in the La Corniche bar, which is known for its terrace overlooking the sea and the Phare du Bout du Monde, you will be able to soak up the atmosphere before and after the match! Before the match you can find both of the teams there, chanting, before making their way to the stadium in the heart of the crowd. Afterwards, whether they are happy or miserable, they discuss every detail of the match over a coffee or a drink*.
