To discover the history of the city's ports and to study the various environmental themes of the nautical environment in the field: pollution, impact of our way of life on the pollution of ports.

Echo-Mer is an association for the protection of the seas and the coastal environment. Since 2001, we have been organizing collections of used materials, such as boat sails, corks, or oyster bags, to give them a second life. We also carry out educational actions aimed at schoolchildren, but also at the general public, by organising events to raise awareness of eco-citizen actions.

Around the Bassin des Chalutiers and the Gabut district in La Rochelle, EchoMer and the Régie du port de plaisance are offering a 1.5 hour walk for adults and children aged 7 and over.
The aim is to present the history of the city's ports and to study in the field the different environmental themes of the nautical environment: pollution, the impact of our way of life (waste, waste water) on the pollution of ports.
